World's Fair Pop Up Gift Card Box

Hi, all! I have fallen in love…again! Meet my new love- the Graphic 45 Altered Art Matchbook Box. I am terrible at buying gifts, so I am mainly a money or gift card giver and I wanted a fun new way of presenting a small gift, like a gift card or similar. So, in walks the new love of my life and, boy, did we had a blast together! Throw in some World’s Fair paper and a fun pop-up twist when the recipient opens the box, and our time together was super fun!

Tip: Sometimes it’s hard to part with a handmade card for fear of its fate once given away, but the Altered Matchbook Box is a gift in itself that the recipient can use after the gift card is gone: for holding small items or re-gift it to keep the gift giving going (no shame in that). Your hard work and time will not be wasted with this fun gift box.

Graphic 45 Gilded Lily Boxed Mini Album and Tutorial

Happy Friday! Today I have a boxed album to share and a tutorial to go along with it!

I love making boxed mini albums and Graphic 45’s Mixed Media boxes make it so easy to whip up a quick album base with just a few alterations. I used the Gilded Lily Collection to make a fancy and feminine album perfect for adding my daughter’s dance pictures or birthday pictures. If you’re looking to try one for yourself then grab a Mixed Media Box and I’ll share with you how to make your own boxed mini album base ready for decorating in a jiffy!

Tip: Mixed Media boxes come in Ivory, Kraft and Black. Want a different color, paint it! You don’t need to paint the whole thing if you’re adding paper, so just paint the edges that will show. I especially like metallic paint like gold to match the Christmas Carol Collection or deep bronze for Steampunk Debutante.

Graphic 45 Christmas Carol Pop Up Shadow Box

Hey, all! I have a super fun project to share with you all today! It'll be Christmas in no time and I am really bad at preparing, so I am really excited that I made this awesome (if I do say so myself) decor piece.
I love all of Graphic 45’s Christmas collections and this new one is no exception! I wanted to make a fun home décor project to display and enjoy throughout the holiday season and I wanted it to be dimensional. But being practical, I thought about how I would store it for the other 11 months out of the year. The idea came upon me when I spied one of my kids pop-up books- to create a 3D scene inside a shadow box that, once opened, images would pop-up and out and then tuck back in and look like a book when it was time to get stored, so I grabbed a Graphic 45 Book Box and the Christmas Carol papers and started fussy cutting my favorite images and gluing them down. Other than the ribbon and metal, all the decorations are from the paper! That’s the beauty of Graphic 45- the paper alone can make the most gorgeous and fun creations!
