Splash

Hi there! I am sharing a card today using the image called, Splash, by Mo's Digital Pencil.

I have had her for awhile and thought it fitting to get get her on a card while we are in the month of April- April showers. Although, here in Southern California were are going through a drought. Maybe this will be a good luck charm to bring on the rain!

I have used an old MME paper pad: Indie Chic 'Nutmeg'. The flowers are my go to Wild Orchid Craft flowers and the enamel dots are from the Prima Princess Brads package. Another go-to embellie is seam binding which I have dyed with Wild Honey Distress Ink.

Thankful Card

Good morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! 

Today I am sharing a card for Whimsy Stamps using my favorite Mini Chalkboards stamp set by SC Designs. I warned you I would use every stamp in this set! You can click on the following links to see my previous cards: Birthday Wishes, Home Sweet Home, True Love Whimsy Card. 

I have used some Autumnal papers by Maja Designs. I thought they would be perfect for this Thanksgiving inspired card and sentiment stamp. I got out my Viva Decor Pearl Pen and went to town to add some interest to the borders. The sketch is from Viva La Verve. I loved Laurie's card, so I took a lot of element ideas from hers like the torn paper that is sewn and the addition of vellum, although mine is not stamped.

I have used the image, My Friend, for my card.

I have used a scallop 'border' around my image and I love how the leaves on the image crawl up the fence like a border.
