Wee Stamps Shelley- PTT Challenge

I have a new card to share for Party Time Tuesdays new Anything Goes Challenge! I have used a Wee Stamp called Shelley. She is adorable! I used distress inks to color the background layer and embossed the swirls over top with white embossing powder.

The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. I colored her a while ago so can't remember exactly what I used but it was my usual suspects. I miss coloring and hope I can find more time to do it more often!

Wee Daphne for Whimsy

Hello! I am back to share a card I made using the adorable Daphne from Wee Stamps for Whimsy!
I also used the Flutter By stamp by SC Designs with coordinating die, Butterfly Frame, along with the new Butterfly Border Die.
Yellow Spring Daffodil Card using Maja Vintage Spring Basics, Whimsy Wee Stamps Daphne image and Copics for Scrapbook Maven
I have used Maja paper from the Vintage Spring Basics Collection. I cut the large Daffodil from the 12x12 paper I had. I love how simple it is and quick, if you don't count the coloring!
I hope your week is fabulous!

Wee Witch

***Scroll down to see my Kenny K post with the new OMG Release***

Good morning again! I have my last post as a June Guest Designer for MarkerPop! :(  I have really enjoyed being a part of the MarkerPop! family this month. What a fun blog hop we had, right? Everyone did an amazing job and it was so fun reading everyone's lovely comments about Hedgie.

Anyways, on to my card! I have used the cutest witch ever, Hazel, from Wee Stamps. Sylvia Zet is an amazing artist!

I used an older paper pad by Carta Bella: All Hallow's Eve. I got out the amazing Cheery Lynn flourish again and cut out a gate with The Greeting Farm Gate. I cut the gate out twice: once with some off white paper from the pad and another time with black. I stacked them for a shadow effect to help make it pop off the page. I then popped them again with foam tape. It's a super fun die as I can cut it up like I did for this card or leave it whole for a different look. (I am excited to try both dies on some 12x12 layouts I have planned with which to decorate my daughter's room.) The dies are of a size that that makes them very versatile for different projects in my opinion.
I used Wild Orchid Craft flowers, of course, and some gauze I bought at the 99 cent store to finish it off.

I am super duper happy with this card. I seem to really like the purple cards I make. Not sure if it's the color or a coincidence, lol. I hope you all like my wee witch card as well and please leave comments if it strikes you, as I love to hear what you all think of my efforts!

Have a fantastic rest of your weekend!
Danielle:)

Heidi

Hi all! Today I have my last card to share with you as a March Guest Designer for Wee Stamps. I am bummed that it will soon be over, but I had so much fun this month coloring up and sharing Sylvia Zet's super amazing and adorable images! I will definitely be buying more!
For today's card, I have used sweet 'Heidi'. She and all Wee Stamps will are will be also available as rubber stamps at Whimsy Stamps.

I have colored her up with Distress Ink. I used random papers and distressed them with walnut stain. I used Fran-tage Shabby Gold, I think (it's chunky white with bits of gold!), to the edge of some of the papers and the blue flowers to give them a snowy look.

I've also used some Liquid Pearls Platinum on the falling snow. The flowers are WOC, as are the pearl stamens. I am drawn to neutral colors with a pop of color, so I am really pleased with this card. I hope you all like it, too! Thanks for looking and have a great Easter weekend!

Another Birthday Boy!

Good Wednesday morning to you all! I have another card to share with you using the adorable 'Birthday Baby Boy' by Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps. This sweet boy and all her stamps are or will be also available as rubber stamps at the Whimsy Stamps store.

This version is colored with Copics.

I had just bought these cute mini clothespins, so I had to find a way to use them! Next time I'll use them farther into the card, so they're not sticking out so much, but it works for where the banner is for now:)

I tried a gesso-like look with some semi dried out white paint and really like how it transformed the card giving it just a little something extra!

Well, I hope this card finds some admirers out there, lol! Have a fabulous Wednesday and rest of the week leading up to Easter. Local weather here is threatening rain, boo! We shall see!

As you might notice from my posts I'm not much of a talker/typer, but I would like to say a few things to all you lovely crafters. Thank you all for your wonderful comments you leave for me! They really mean so much and make my day! Like I've said before, I don't have anyone IRL who is into paper crafting like me, so it's so nice to be able to blog about it and 'socialize' with other crafty people in blogland. Thank you!

Wee Stamps New Release

Good morning! I am so excited! Wee Stamps is releasing two new stamps and is showcasing cards with theses images today and tomorrow. I am lucky enough as one of the Guest Designers of March to be one of the first to get to play with them!
Today I am showing you my card introducing the new 'Love You Slow Much'. It is absolutely adorable and I had so much fun coloring her up with my Distress Inks. Yes, you heard me right! I tried the DI's again and I'm loving the look it gives for the Wee Stamps!

I used Prima's Nature Garden papers and Wild Orchid Craft flowers. I also used a metal corner from WOC that I used Stampendous Fran-tage embossing powder on to soften the look. The butterfly is cut from the paper and I used some thick paint along the edges. I also added some glitter glue to the wings and the flowers in her hair.

Look how sweet they are! Awww!
There is more inspiration to gaze at by the other talented GDT's at the Sylvia Zet blog of the new release images, so go check it out!

All Wee Stamps images are or will be also available as rubber stamps through Whimsy Stamps.
Stay tuned tomorrow if you'd like to see what I came up with for 'Birthday Baby Boy'! It's another adorable image that is a definite 'need to have'!

Feeling Green

Happy Tuesday morning! I have a card to share with you all! I don't usually make a card for Party Time Tuesday as I am one of the Sponsor Coordinators, but I made a card that fit the bill for this weeks challenge using a Wee Stamp. I received it as I am a March Guest Designer for the Sylvia Zet blog!

The challenge at PTT is 'Luck of the Irish', so I was inspired to make a green card with the adorable 'Sweet Blossom'. She and all other Wee Stamp images are or will be also available as rubber stamps through Whimsy Stamps for all you rubber lovers!

Here is my card...it turned out o'bit busy, but it's grown on me!

I used a Tim Holtz Butterfly On the Edge die (I had just bought it so had to use it!), Wild Orchid Craft flowers and Prima papers. The tag was from the paper pad, also. The lovely rub-on in the lower right corner is from The Robin's Nest and I stamped 'sweet' to fit perfectly inside. The seam binding was dyed using either Peeled Pain or Forest Moss DI. Sorry, can't remember :-/  I distressed the paper edges and inked them with Vintage Photo.

I hope you all find some inspiration in it and please check out the PTT blog and see what the DT have created! We are being sponsored by The Robin's Nest, Bunny Zoe's Crafts and Paper Nest Dolls, so there are many awesome prizes to be won!

Challenges I'd like to enter:
Celebrate the Occassion (Spring is in the Air)
Clear it Out (St. Patty's Day and green)
Crafty Sentiments (Hello Spring)
Deep Ocean (Cute and Cuddly)
