Birthday Wishes

Good morning! I have a quick share today of a card using the fabulous Mini Chalkboards by SC Designs of Whimsy Stamps! Have I mentioned before how much I love this set?

It's such a fast card compared to one with a colored image, but still takes thought  design-wise because there is no image to take the load, lol! 

I used my Copic BV02, I believe, to color the background layers and the ribbon I threaded through the crochet lace. I haven't used rhinestone flourishes in a while and I really love them, so my mission with this card was to use one! I added some glitter glue around the sentiment for a little added detail.

The paper is Maja paper. I love how thick it is as it distresses so nicely with my scissors!

Home Sweet Home

I'm back! Today I would like to share a card I made using the adorable Kansas by Mo's Digital Pencil, inspired by Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I have also used one of the Mini Chalkboards 1 sentiment stamp set from Whimsy.

 I have used Maja papers of course and beautiful flowers from Live and Love Crafts that I won a while back. I love the pop of red in this blue card and I had to glitter up her shoes to make them pop even more!

I thought I'd try adding some extra pictures and work on my camera skill, lol!

Whimsy's Heidi

Hello all! I am so happy to say that I have been offered a DT position with Whimsy Stamps and I have accepted!! Thank you to all of you who wished me luck- it worked! 

I have used Heidi by Sylvia Zet for Whimsy Stamps.

I have colored her up using Distress Ink Pads. The papers are scrap pieces and the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts. I was lucky enough to win last months challenge at Live and Love Crafts and the berries are from my winnings! They are so pretty on a card but sooo messy!To my flower arrangements I added some pine cones that I made myself using decorative scissors and I added a wooden butterfly which is part of a Prima embellishment box that has four other designs and four of each design. Very versatile and fun! I added a Doohickey die and some seam binding which I have dyed with Vintage Photo. 

Scrapbook Maven is now carrying some Magnolia stamps and within the week will be carrying the So Lovely Tag Doohickey die like in my card and the Tilda Tag die! Stop by and check it out!
