Naunet

Good afternoon! It's my turn this week to share my card using a fun Mo's Digital Pencil image and today I have colored up the beautiful, Naunet!
Tropical mermaid card using Prima and Mo's Digital Pencil Naunet digital image
I have used an old Prima paper pad, Alla Prima. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts as well as the strung pearls. The pearls I bought a while back and didn't know what to do with them until this card. They reminded me of bubbles, which I thought was perfect for my tropical mermaid! I dyed some seam binding with Distress Ink Evergreen Bough. I muted the Yellow Orange flowers with gesso and I think I would've been happier with an extra layer. My Martha Stewart punch around the page for my shell border.
I usually like more muted colors but I think the bright colors suit Naunet perfectly!
Thanks for stopping by!

Whimsy's Miss Chloe Vignette

Good morning! I have a fun card to share using Miss Chloe Vignette by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps
Isn't she a beauty with her flowing hair and freckles?

Whimsy's Elizabeth Bell's Miss Chloe Vignette using Prima's Fairy Rhymes paper

I have used a tutorial from You Tube to make the Recessed Window Card base as I did a long time ago. This is a great tutorial and this style really adds a fun and unique twist to a card!

I have used the A4 paper pad of Prima's Fairy Rhymes paper and  fussy cut the banners and flowers. The sentiment is also Whimsy: Mini Chalkboards by SC Designs (my favorite stamp set at the moment). A few mulberry flowers and pearls and voila!

Enjoy your weekend!

Fairy Needle in the Garment District

Hey there Mo fans! Today I would like to share a card I have made using sweet Fairy Needle from Mo's Digital Pencil.

Mo's Digital Pencil, Fairy Needle using Marion Smith's Garment District for She's Sew Crafty and Scrapbook Maven

I have used the gorgeous Garment District 6x6 papers by Marion Smith Designs! All her papers are fabulous! I did a whole lot of fussy cutting. Marion's papers are great for that!. Everything I embellished with was from the paper except for the seam binding, sentiment and wooden spool! How great is that! I did use some glitter and Frantage to add some interest, too.

Copics:
Skin- E000,00,21,13, R20,22
Hair-E50,53,,55,57
Wings- Y11, RV91,R81, 85
Skirt- RV000, 91,95, R85

I'd love to know what you think of my fussy cut card! I hope you like it!
