In the Wood for Whimsy

Hello! I have a Whimsy Stamps card to share! I have used In the Wood by Cathy Delanssay. I thought it would make a lovely winter time card and, frankly, it's never too early to make Christmas-y cards!

I decided to used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to color. The green is Evergreen Bough which I think is very appropriate for this sweet In the Wood stamp. I used some Wild Orchid Crafts flowers that were generously gifted to me and the Whimsy DT, as well as the Fanciful Birthday Notables 1 stamp for the beautiful stamped frame around my sentiment. The gorgeous papers are the Vintage Spring Basics paper from Maja Designs.  Have a wonderful day! Fluttering By with Inspiration

Hello!!It's the middle of the week and I have a card to share!!

I have used the Fluttering By stamp set from Whimsy designed by SC Designs.

I love how true and inspirational the stamp is to get out of your comfort zone and go for it- whatever 'it' may be for you.

I have had these cute Prima nests for awhile and finally found the perfect project to use one on!  I have used my favorite Prima Nature Garden Pad. I am slowly whittling it away with making cards even though I originally bought it for a mini album...one day! Hope the rest of your week flies by!

Today the DT are showcasing images from Artists Crissy Armstrong and Ciara's Friends by Sandy Allnock . I have been chosen to feature this sweet image perfect for summer time, Ciara and Penny by Sandy Allnock.

I tried for a light, bright summery card. I think this will be a perfect pool party Birthday card or any happy summer card really! The doggy is adorable! I used some acrylic dots to make water droplets and the sentiment is from the stamp set. Yesterday was the debut of the new Sylvia Zet and Cathy Delanssay stamps and today we are debuting the sentiments and dies by Ann Vento and SC Designs.

For my card I have used the gorgeous Fluttering By stamp set.  There are so many fun and uplifting sentiments in this set and the lovely die is the Butterfly Frame that works perfectly with the stamp set! 

I've layered the sentiment and stmaed it with Tea Dye Distress Ink. I used some homemade molding paste to stencil a flourish in the background and made some flowers using the Tattered Florals DIe.  I used the Prima Fairy Rhymes paper pad in the A4 size and was able to cut out the butterflies to add around the card for some interest as well as some Recollections pearls flourishes. Fabulous Wonderful Friend

Good morning! I'm back to share a card I have made using the amazing Mini Chalkboards by SC Designs for Whimsy Stamps! I challenged myself to use every stamp in the set which wasn't really a challenge as they are all perfect! You really can't go wrong with buying this stamp set!

This is my fifth card using the set and I have three more stamps to go! I used Maja Design paper and some pearls. It really came together quickly and I will be so happy to give this to a dear friend!

Whimsy's Miss Chloe Vignette

Good morning! I have a fun card to share using Miss Chloe Vignette by Elisabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps

Isn't she a beauty with her flowing hair and freckles?

I have used a tutorial from You Tube to make the Recessed Window Card base as I did a long time ago. This is a great tutorial and this style really adds a fun and unique twist to a card!

I have used the A4 paper pad of Prima's Fairy Rhymes paper and  fussy cut the banners and flowers. The sentiment is also Whimsy: Mini Chalkboards by SC Designs (my favorite stamp set at the moment). A few mulberry flowers and pearls and voila!
