Fairy Sleepy Boy

I have for you all today a mini album with the sweet Fairy Sleepy from Mo's Digital Pencil. as my focal image. This time I have colored it to be more boyish to go along with the album cover I have made using a Quick Quotes album kit that I won a month back!

Previously, I had colored Sleepy Fairy up more girly in this post for a card.

I had fun playing with the kit and coloring up the image to match. I think this will make a wonderful gift to an expecting mom to mark the milestones of baby's first year. Time flies by and it's always nice to have something pre-made to use. I always thought I would get to it with my kids and now my oldest is 9 and I haven't done a thing and now it's hard to go back and remember all the exact times all four of my kids reached their milestones. So this is something I think is a great gift for a family.

I used my Copics this time and Vintage Photo to distress everything. Everything on this album besides the image and distress ink, came with the kit! So easy and fun!

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!

Little Momma

I am so in love with this precious image by Mo Manning. Kady can be found at Mo's Digital Pencil. She is a new stamp and you must get her. Kady is so fun to color and look how sweet she is. I am sure we all know a little girl who is the best little mommy to her dolls. Sometimes I wish I would have another baby just because I know what a sweet little helper my daughter would be, but I let my common sense prevail, haha!

I uses MME's Love Me 6x6 paper pad and some Recollections corrugated cardstock for my layers. I gessoed and used Shabby Pink Frantage on the corrugated cardstock and a bit of gesso around the card. Wild Orchid craft flowers and Decorative Pins were my embellishments. I used Spun Sugar DI to pinkify the Carnations and I cut out a butterfly from some Maja paper, also. The wonderful sketch I used was from The Sketchy Challenges.

I hadn't colored with Distress Inks in a while because I didn't like the yellow, rough paper I had purchased on sale that I was using previously. So, I splurged (with a coupon, lol) on Canson paper. I've never heard of it before but it was the best in Michael's that was still a decent price. It's whiter and much smoother than the Strathmore.

For sweet Kady, I used the following Distress Ink Pads:

Skirt- Victorian Velvet
Sweater and Leggings- Black Soot
Hair-Antique Linen and Walnut Stain
Skin-Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick
Ground- Frayed Burlap
Background- Weathered Wood and Black Soot

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous weekend!

Mo's DT Monthly Blog Hop!!

Good morning all! It's time for another blog hop with the lovely ladies of Mo's Dream Team! This month I am host and I have chosen the theme to use Distressing Techniques!

I love inking and roughing up my paper edges, so I thought I would choose an easy theme for me, hehe!

I have used a new digital stamp called Paddy, which you can find at Mo's Digital Pencil. He is so perfect for St. Paddy's Day coming up in March!

Green Vintage card using Mo's Digital Pencil Paddy, paper flowers St. Patrick's Day card

I used my Silhouette to cut out my card base and the pot o' gold, which I designed in Silhouette Studio. I used Aged Gold Frantage to make my gold for the pot and sprinkled some around my image along with some Shabby White. I inked the edges with Vintage photo and roughed them up.
I waited until it was too late to get a picture with natural light, so this was the best I could get. :(

I hope you like my little Irish lad and don't forget to comment here at at each stop of the hop for your chance at Mo's Digital Pencil prize!

This is the first stop of the hop and your next stop is the lovely and talented Kaly!

If you get lost here is the blog hop order: Me, Kaly, Mina, Jak, Gretha, Julie, Debby Y., Heidy, Alice, Vili, Alexandra, Anneke

Happy Hopping!

I don't know how Mo did it, but she was able to create another baby fairy even cuter than the last! This is Fairy Sleepy which can be bought at Mo's Digital Pencil

I will update this post with all the card details. It will be just too annoying trying to do it now as I  out of town and typing this on my phone.

Alisa with Roses

Happy New Year! This is my first blog post for the new year and Alisa with Roses, from Mo's Digital Pencil, is such a beautiful image with which to start the year off.

I have used Pink Paislee's London Market for my paper. I got the idea for the hearts from a beautiful layout I saw on the Maja blog as well as the pleats on the right hand side. I actually cut a butterfly from the paper and hid my cut using the peaking pleats. The frame is on ei made using the Martha Stewart molds.
I used WOC flowers and metal corner and of course Copic markers to color!

The colors are my usual suspects, very similar to this post and this post. The only differences are that I used E21 and E13, also, for the skin and V000 in place of the RV000.

Thank you for visiting today! Don't forget to stop by Mo's Dream Team blog to get twice daily inspiration!
