Zombified!

Today I am sharing a card I have made for my nephew for Halloween. Zombified from Mo's Digital Pencil is such a perfect image for a boy. Don't all boys play at being a zombie at some point?!

I used my Silhouette for a lot of the die cuts. I made a tag with "Trick or Treat" stamped on it and stapled some spider web ribbon on to it. The paper is old stuff from my stash.

Copics:
Skin YG03, 63, 76, W01, 03
Outer shirt BV 31, 00, 02
Shirt W1, 3, 5, 7
Pants B0000, 32, 34, 37
Jack o Lantern Y11. 15, YR02, 04, 07

Thanks for stopping by!

Tuesday's Child

Happy Friday- Saturday, yikes, I forgot to hit publish!! I have a boy card to share with you all using a Mo's Digital Pencil image, Tuesdays Child (Boy).

Since I have three boys, all of whom play baseball, I figured this would be the perfect image to make a card. I tried my hand at Copic clouds for the first time. Before I was using DI's and a handmade
cloud template. I am quite happy with my first attempt.
Colors I used:

Grass: YG03, 63, 67 and white gel pen
Clouds: B0000, C0 and Colorless Blender
Uniform and shoes: B32, 34, 37, 39, C0, 3, 5, 7, 9
Mitt: E00, 13, 15, 18

I hope you all like my boy card! I need to make them a lot more than I do, for sure!

Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop

It's that time again! Mo's Dream Team is having a blog hop! It's our way of having fun and inspiring others, while also giving all who comment a chance to win some prizes along the way!

Our theme this hop is CIRCLES and our host this time around is Gretha!

For my card, I have use Elke and Bear from Mo's Digital Pencil. This image is so adorable it can stand alone on a card!

I figured the image has apples (or maybe peaches in my case) and they are round, right? And, her leggings have circles, but I thought for good measure, I would add a circular Prima stamp that says "hello".

I used Wild Orchid Craft flowers, some ribbon from my stash and a few die cuts. I used Frantage to lighten up the dark brown background paper, which is also from Prima.

If your following the hop, you should have come from Anneke's blog. If you are just starting, you may want to start back at Gretha's blog. Next up is the super talented Kaly with something gorgeous to share, I am sure! Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog as there are hidden prizes to be won!

Mad Mummy

Good morning Kenny K fans! Today is the start of a brand new challenge! For this fortnight we are challenging you to make something with
Fall Colors!

We have three awesome sponsors this challenge:

with 5 digis of the winners choice

with a $20 Gift Voucher!

and

Marianne Designs

For my project i have used Mad Mummy. I seem to be fascinated right now with coffins, so I have made a coffin treat box. I lined it with some fun orange design paper and decorated it with white gel pen by doodling some spiders and webs.

My kids came home from school and saw this box and exclaimed, "Cool!...Awesome , it's a coffin!"
Perfect Halloween treat box, I think!

I colored my mummy up with Copics:
W1,3,5,7, and C9
Y11

The lighting washed him out a lot as in RL he has more depth to him. I really enjoyed this project and now I need to make several more so each child gets a "Cool" treat box!

Can't wait to see some of you join in with this Fall Color challenge!
Danielle:)

Challenges I'd like to enter:
613 Ave Create (Anything Goes)
Challenges 4 Everybody (Anything Goes)
Great Impressions (Fall Colors)
Hobbycutz (Anything Goes)

Let it Snow

I have finally started working on Christmas cards! Yay! This one is using my favorite image from Mo's Digital Pencil, Winter Fairy Halla.
I have used my semi new Martha Stewart Branch punch and my Silhouette for all the snowflakes. Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some Shabby Blue Frantage to decorate. I distressed with Walnut Stain DI and I added some bling to the sentiment snowflake.
I was inspired by the Live and Love Crafts inspiration challenge photo collage to bring in the kraft paper and Walnut Stain and the white flowers from the beautiful inspiration room photo, top left.

I love seeing what they come up with at LLC! Maybe I can talk the hubs into letting me have a shopping spree at the LLC Shop for a super early Christmas present?!? Oh, I do hate budgets! I'm doing my best to stretch my stash until then:) But that's what credit cards are for, right? ...I know, my husband didn't find it funny, either. Pooh! Ha ha!

Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend!
Danielle:)
