Happy Valentine's Day to everyone! In honor of today I have made a card using Full Heart from Mo's Digital Pencil. I had colored her previously using Copics for this card, but for this one I went with Distress Inks.
I used Maja Designs paper again, yay! Love Maja! I used both sides of Vintage Summer Basics-1924? I think. The year is glued down as I used the bottom strip of the paper on the card above my crochet lace which you can barely see, poo. I used a Cheery Lynn flourish and Wild Orchid Craft flowers which I sponged with Victorian Velvet.
I stitched around the layers and image and added flat back pearls and pearl trim to frame the image for the Cheerly Lynn challenge. I also used Walnut Stain to distress my edges.
I used a wood heart that I gessoed and glued on some letters from a Prima paper pad for my sentiment.
Distress Inks used:
Skin- Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Worn Lipstick
Hair- Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Dress- Victorian Velvet, Black Soot
Hearts- Fired Brick
Have a Happy Valentine's Day!
Danielle:)

Absolutely beautiful card!!! Great coloring too, I am feasting my eyes on all of your pretty details! Thank you so much for joining us in our challenge this week at Cheery Lynn Designs!
ReplyDeleteWOW! This card is absolutely stunning! I just sat and stared at it for a while because there are so many lovely components to see. I was fascinated by the soft color palette you used and how you colored the image with distress inks. What a great idea! And of course, I am a fan of anything that involves stitching! The flowers are absolutely gorgeous and the placement of the flourishes is perfect. The ribbon at the bottom and the pearls give it just the right bit of texture. Really beautiful piece that I could keep looking at for a long time! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
