The Christmas spirit is among us this time of year and I was inspired to make a Christmas themed version of my pop up matchbook box. I love giving gift cards and a perfect way to personalize a typically non-personal gift, is with a thoughtful and handmade presentation. I absolutely love the way it turned out using Graphic 45’s Christmas Carol Collection and the bells at the top give it a fun festive jingle as you open it!
Tip 1: Fussy cut out your favorite images and start layering them with foam adhesive to create a dimensional cluster.
Tip 2: Curl the edges of some fussy cuts to add even more visual interest and dimension.

Good morning! Today I am happy to share my newest organizational tool! The year is coming to a close (way too fast!)and soon we will be starting on our New Year’s resolutions. I thought I would get a head start on mine: organization! I have turned Graphic 45’s Mixed Media Album into my new daily-life planner. I’ve decorated it with my all-time favorite collection, Steampunk Debutante, on the cover and base pages. With the help of Time to Flourish 8x8 calendar pages, and my custom weekly and daily inserts, I am all set to plan my days in style. Each month I will plan with a new gorgeous collection to match my mood and it will be a real pleasure to keep track of all my to-do’s, tasks and deadlines! I love how with this planner, I can keep it as a keepsake of what my family and I did. I can even add pictures onto and between the pages using pocket pages sleeves!
If you would like to make your own version of a planner check out my free insert below. I have the inserts for daily and weekly inserts in the vintage style I used for my planner. It has a parchment like coloring, which you can add more ink to the edges. There is also some watermarks of vintage graphics faintly showing through. For those who don't want to use as much toner/ink, I have the same inserts available with plain white backgrounds. For the weekly, you have the option of starting your week on Monday and having your Friday and weekend on one page (like I have), or you can choose to start your weekly on Sunday on through Saturday.

Tip #1: Want something not so dark and spooky- try a festive
orange or white craft pumpkin.
Tip #2: Love the look but overwhelmed with the space to
fill? Start by choosing larger fussy cut elements to create the main scene and
fill in the rest with finer fussy cuts; or, fill in using ready-made
embellishments to save time.
Hi, all! I have fallen in
love…again! Meet my new love- the Graphic 45 Altered Art Matchbook Box. I am terrible at buying gifts, so I am mainly a money or gift card giver and I wanted a fun new way of presenting a
small gift, like a gift card or similar. So, in walks the new love of my life

Tip: Mixed Media
boxes come in Ivory, Kraft and Black. Want a different color, paint it! You
don’t need to paint the whole thing if you’re adding paper, so just paint the
edges that will show. I especially like metallic paint like gold to match the
Christmas Carol Collection or deep bronze for Steampunk Debutante.
