Artisan Style Boxed Mini and Stand
I was inspired to make this project by some wonderful friends who allowed me to help them purchase their first home! I wanted to give them a special housewarming gift: a mini album that would house their first year memories in their new home with their daughter and baby boy, but I also wanted it to look a bit more like a fun home décor piece. In comes my boxed mini on a stand using the super fun Graphic 45 Antique Brass Claw Feet to, literally and figuratively, give my album a lift! I made a YouTube video to share how the stand works and all the flaps and pockets of the album. I hope you enjoy!
Tip: If you come across an image you love in the paper, but it is too large for your project, don’t be afraid to cut it in half or in segments to reassemble and wraparound a project corner or, my favorite, span two facing album pages. It ties the two pages together while showing off the gorgeous image in all its splendor.

Danielle, this may be my favorite journal that I have ever seen and I wasn't even crazy about this paper line when it was released!!! Is there any way I could get the instructions on how you put this journal together? do you have plans I could download or do you have a video? Thank so much.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Shannon! I am planning on making a tutorial for the construction of the boxed mini and stand. Was that what you were interested in or the decorating as well? My kiddos go back to school on the 2nd, so I will have time to get the tutorial done then. I will announce it availability here and on YouTube and in my Newsletter, if you are subscribed to any of those. Let me know exactly what you would like to see so I can make sure to touch on them specifically :)
DeleteI just love this album. Would love to buy a tutorial if you have one available.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
Hi Rhonda, I do not have a tutorial yet, but I am planning on making one once my kids return to school. That way the background noise is at a minimum, LOL! Like I mentioned to Shannon above, I will announce its availability on YouTube, here and in my newsletter. Let me know exactly what you were interested in as I was planning on doing the construction only, not necessarily the decorating with design paper, etc. Thanks, Danielle :)
DeleteLove Love Love your journal. Anyway to get instructions on how to make it?
